Hoppy FearStyle Friday! I hope you are all feeling the Easter feeling. Today's post is coming in a little late because of the severe weather in my area. I haven't been able to log on, so this is the best I could do, given the circumstances. So, to put you in a Easter mood, with a horror twist, I present to you the tale of Bunnicula!
Bunnicula is a book series that features a veggie sucking bunny named, you guessed it, Bunnicula, a dog named Harold, and a cat named Chester. Fun fact, I had a cat named Chester as a kid, so that's cool. The little bunny has two tiny fangs and is named after their favorite movie, Dracula. Narrorated by Harold, the dog, the other pets find Bunnicula to be a little strange. They start to find veggies drained of all their color and notice that the bunny sleeps all day. Chester, the cat, reads up on vampires and decides that he needs to stop him before it's too late. Harold doesn't follow along with his antics and Chester's scheme's to catch the vampire bunny gets him thrown outside. Is Bunnicula really a vampire bunny? You'll have to read to find out. I know it's a children's book but it is still a fun read. Give it a go.
That's all I can do for today but I hope you all have a great Easter and, if the weather allows, have some fun in the sun. Don't forget about the horror though. If you have the time, give this one a read. Share it with your friends and family and let me know your thoughts. Hoppy Easter and stay spooky.
